Ryan grew up in Chisago City, MN on a beef
and sheep farm. He graduated from high school in Chisago Lakes
and then earned a B.S. degree in dairy science and a minor in
agronomy from UW-River Falls. He worked as an Assistant
Herdsman on two dairy farms and spent one year as a dairy
nutritionist at Cooperative Plus, Inc before coming to Central
Wisconsin Cooperative. He is married and has one child. In his
spare time, Ryan enjoys downhill skiing, hunting, camping,
traveling, watching movies and woodworking. He also helps on
his brother’s dairy farm and helps his wife’s family show sheep.
