Tom Hoffman, CCA
Agronomy Division Manager

Tom has been with Central Wisconsin Cooperative since 1999 and currently resides in Stratford. Tom received his Bachelors of Science degree in Soil & Crop Science from UW Platteville. Tom has had 7+ years as a Territory Sale Manager with a national seed Company.

Tom has the knowledge necessary to make your experience with Central Wisconsin Cooperative effortless and trouble-free.

Dale Walz, CCA
Location Manager/Agronomy Sales

Dale joined the agronomy sales team in the Spring of 1996. With over 30 years of experience, he is the expert in deer food plots. Dale was raised on a dairy farm near Bloomington, WI. He graduated from Bloomington High School, and earned his Associates Degree in Agriculture from Western Wisconsin Technical Institute of LaCrosse.

Dale, his wife Missy, and their four children live in Granton. He is very active in the community. He serves as a trustee forthe Village of Granton, President of the Granton Park Board, Director of the Southern Clark County Sportman Club and is an active member of St. Anothony's Church in Loyal.

Jeremy Brown, CCA
Agronomy Sales

Jeremy has been with Central Wisconsin Cooperative since 2002.

Jeremy is located in Auburndale were he resides with his wife who is originally from the area. He holds a degree in Resource Management with a minor in Environment Law Enforcement from University of Wisconsin Steven Point.

Dale Budtke, CCA
Agronomy Sales

Dale joined the agronomy sales team in March of 2010 out of our Stratford location. Dale has a great deal of experience with Central Wisconsin Cooperative and the agronomy division. Since March of 2002, he has worked as a commercial applicator. He also assisted in the Propane Division in the winter months with bulk delivery of LP gas. Dale’s first hand agronomy experience has given him a strong understanding of his new position. Dale grew up on the family farm just South of Rozellville and farmed for a short period before his employment with CWC.

He and his wife Jodi have three children; Samantha, Amanda and Tyler. Dale enjoys all outdoor activities especially snowmobiling and deer hunting.

Michael Gronski, CCA
Agronomy Sales

Mike works for our Agronomy team out of the Auburndale location.

Michael grew up in the Wausau area and attended DC Everest High School. In 2007, he received his BS degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology with a minor in Agronomy from UW River-falls. Gronski has been working locally in the agronomy field for the past two years.

Michael and his wife Sara currently live in Marshfield. In his free time he enjoys hunting, snowmobiling and camping.

Jerry Trachte, CCA
Agronomy Sales

Joining CWC in April 2009 as a Sales Agronomist at our Auburndale location.

Jerry, a native to the area, grew up on a dairy farm south of Marshfield, and attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he earned his B.S. degree in Resource Management with Soils Efficiency. Trachte brings many experiences in his field. He is a National/State certified Crop Advisor; he was president of Midland Coop’s Agriculture Group in region 1, and was a district sales manager for Old’s Seed Company out of Madison. For 8 years Jerry helped develop field agronomist programs for Land O’Lakes-Midland. Before joining the CWC team, Trachte was employed at Olsen’s Crop Service for 13 years.

Jerry and his wife reside in the Plover area. They have one daughter and three granddaughters that live in the Mosinee area. In his spare time Jerry likes to hunt, fish and enjoys the warmer weather.
